This book “altered” an academic essay on king mythology by gluing into its pages a juxtaposition of imagery from 1789 in France and 2008 in the US.  The goal is to show the euphoria of speech-makers, activists, and the poor on the eve of a great historical moment–the Revolution of 1789 and the American presidential election of 2008.  The message:  “There is no such thing as false hope.” (–Barack Obama)
